That's what it looks like to me, i.e., in ballpark numbers, they've increased by a factor of 10 from the historical average.

Insightful article, but what I respect most is the message near the bottom that advises us NOT to jump to hasty conclusions to support any arguments with respect to vaccines, for example. Here Dr. Makis distances himself from attention-seeking conspiracy theorists AND brainwashed minions. It’s a position we all should strive to follow, because we’re too divided as is and that’s what adults do.

Thank you Jack! We truly cannot be led by our feelings, but by the data that we can find. I value the collaboration with Dr Makis and Dr Stillwagon, and how these professionals report facts and figures, so I aspire to do all I can to emulate their approach. This collaboration article took a lot of digging, thinking, and drafts. Thank you for reading and taking the time to provide your insight!

True, good point. Igor Chudov’s substack stresses this and he allows free speech as well. Civility is key, like in a court of law. Better have good lawyers, or at least some hard core evidence to show the judge. ;-)

Would love to fly and see my family but must take FAA data seriously. Anyone who's worked with stats also knows numbers are fudged as well. A good time to seek alternative travel. Be well all.

Yep! How does the saying go- "Lies, damned lies & statistics"! It's not difficult to wilfuly skew the interpretation of data, in the cynical knowledge that the public, by & large, are uneducated on these matters, & within 2-3 mentions of exclusive terminology that they have no understanding of, they are lost, and just take it ALL on "trust". Especially in THESE horror filled times, there IS no more foolish a thought, or statement than- "Well, they SAID it, so it MUST be true! They would never LIE to us!". Nowadays, I cringe internally every time I overhear somebody say- "It said on the news last night that- ". People really believe the mainstream media/ soap opera false paradigm they're spoonfed. It's very sad.

Yep. Those who choose to remain in militant ignorance, I have observed anyway, have an addiction or two going on. And or are completely co-dependent. Mistakes were not made. https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/mistakes-were-not-made-an-anthem-57a
